about

Having fun with words 101. This is the song whose lyrics inspired the bulk of Junkyard Sam's amazing cover art. If you listen closely and scour the artwork, you'll find a lot of Easter eggs. The title is a reference to a skit from The State. Original title was 24K Gold Chainsaw, but then I realized I already had a song on this album using the word chainsaw, thus the shift.

lyrics

Examine the calamitous acts of magical rap
Mechanic of grammar analyst handling dap
Like ma’am, do you really want your lanolin back
The status of your battling axe is sad and it’s wack
I’m handing the tap to you
So you can take it out
Breaking down the sand is a trap
Random parameter slaps
Manhandling mandolin pampered handymen
Abandonment Trans Am and a grin
Hand cramp
Running a campaign with Van Damme it’s a win
Going plantains, hold the dang reigns
You know the coldest slang slain is no joke
I fold advanced kings and go for broke
Delivering by the boatload
Epitomizing dope and minimizing bozos
Wicked fly the crows go
Vivid sights in slow mo from the dojo overdosing on rojo
Summon some of underappreciated thunderous blitz of cadence nose dove
Tantalizing the screaming hand that’s biting itself in a feeding frenzy
It won’t grow
So no, your fascinating anecdotes are the hand to throat anti dope antidote the sleepless world was hoping for,
so clamp it closed and build a boat of random ransom notes
Is there any chance it floats? Plant some nos and watch them sprout to giants
With expansive scope
So nope, you dope
Look man, I’m not a shade tree, I’m a solar eclipse holding a pen
Fold and it’s quits, molding the end, boldest to live, scold them and then
Emboldened with doldrums, old and beyond the point of seeking reassurance
You see a pedestal, my eyes see a reeking heap of vermin
I’m that old muppet in the balcony, calcified bitter and algebraic
Don’t account for payments, self-stated, no pals can say it
I prowl the pages holding the beat on a chain, leashes couldn’t restrain it
Put in the crookedest cadence in cages the trojan wooden courageous
Just your garden variety napalm starting to riot with phrased bombs
Used the grim reaper’s cloak for molitov plugs, so game on
Snatched a burner phone from Promethues, starting the fire quick
Heard the death itself screaming as flames devoured the entire wick
A self denying nihilist minding his business that's surprisingly brisk
Watch them all connivingly glide to the cliffs
This assignment is a mine with a glare of shrapnel
A very feral rapper grappling pterodactyls with knives made of rare enamel
I'm wearing flannel like it's eighth grade all over again
And I don't care because it's comfortable, no doberman trends
Or hopes of revenge, I coated the pen with codependence and a pro showman's bogus venoms
A dope lieutenant with word play that is open ended
So take it however you will or won't, vendetta vanilla verbose, frenetic as a spillage approach
The Atilla Illustrator, living in an Adobe hut
Looking forward to mopey mutts? I promise you it won't be us
I'm phenomenal riding a llama dude, you're oddly nominal
A docile ocelot often lost in thoughts of goldfish
When the posts of your goals shift, I'll be piloting Iverson's ghost ship
And I don't give much credence to disbelieving what I can accomplish
But you on the other hand, that's kind of awkward
Let's move onward, shall we pal, now we found some common ground
Turn the stove up, go head and let that bag of ramen drown
I tend to brag and mistake it for truth somebody wants
Other times, it’s more like a ruddy taunt flag flown from the muddy palms
